ME3: WIP FemShep by MissCordie ME3: WIP FemShep by MissCordie
Wanted to upload some progress shots of what we've been working on for Otakon!

:iconemilycrossing: and I are collaborating on this costume, and so far I'm really happy with what we've come up with! She's basically teaching me the ropes of working with EVA foam and I'm doing most of the detailing bits as well as painting/weathering, making all the underbits/harnesses, etc. I can't wait to have this finished!

what did you use for this? I'm trying to make gauntlets and hoping i could use the same material.

How did you go about getting the texture for the shoulders and such? it looks like it was etched in, or is it a material covering it?

Lol right you are.
well I have a few models that are very damn detailed of good ol' Wing Zero Custom, plus it was the only Gundam I drew a lot of high school, so I guess with those it shouldn't be *too* hard

If Otakon busts for me, will you be coming to Matsuri with this outfit?

hmmm I m also planning to make a foam costume , but I ran out of ideas and made a simple design , and that would be the best because it is the first time that I build a foam costume

but I m not sure that my measurements are correct , how did you do the measurements ?

We've been building the pattern on me as we go, so we're basically making it from scratch! Working on something like this is best with someone to fit things to you, unless you have a body double mannequin!
